Advanced Forecast Topics Workshop
The Advanced Workshop is a one-day workshop conducted the day prior to the Annual Energy Forecasting Meeting. The workshop is designed for forecasters who want to deepen their expertise in emerging trends that shape long-term energy forecasts. This year’s workshop focuses on four rapidly evolving areas:
- Data centers
- Trending weather and climate influences
- Electric vehicles (EVs)
- Behind the meter (BTM) solar adoption
Each topic explores modelling issues associated with these technologies. Attendees will examine practical forecasting techniques ranging from modeling methods to load shape development. The hands on workshop will work directly with MetrixND and MetrixLT, using each tool to build components that integrate these technologies into a complete long term energy forecast.
Start: 28/04/26
